Now that the 2012 election is behind us, and we anticipate the impact of the results for the Office of the President, the Senate and the House of Representatives beginning in January 2013, we can expect an influence on the implementation of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA).
However, since neither Democrats nor Republicans have achieved effective control of the White House and both the House of Representatives and the Senate, we may be entering a period of protracted struggle in Congress over the implementation of the law.
