As a recognized talent acquisition strategy design leader who understands TA model builds through a unique blend of inhouse Fortune 500 corporate expertise and consultancy, Melanie’s twenty years of experience has delivered TA excellence resulting in measurable business advantage for her employers and clients. Melanie recently joined Thermo Fisher Scientific as Global Director of Talent Acquisition working within the Laboratory Products Group, a $2.5+B division of Thermo Fisher Scientific. Prior to Thermo Fisher Scientific, she worked with Futurestep/Korn Ferry as a Client Services Director overseeing multiple delivery teams providing consultancy and talent advisory services for several large name brand CGP and healthcare companies supporting growth/restructure, mergers/acquisitions, or complete RPO. Previous inhouse roles included Sr. Director TA with Aramark, Director TA with James Hardie and OfficeMax. Prior to these roles, she ran her own consulting business where she counseled companies on talent acquisition/management and sourcing programs from the ground up, culture change/change management, hired executive and critical roles, and led multiple applicant tracking systems implementations for both small and Fortune 500 companies. Melanie has a BS in Business from Cardinal Stritch University, is a Certified Administrator in DDI’s Targeted Selection, Lominger’s Interview Architect, and Korn Ferry’s Decision Styles for Leadership.
