Amy Blackburn is the Director of the Center for the Future of Work at Oklahoma State University, where she leads the strategic direction, operations, and business development initiatives. With over two decades of experience in marketing, communications, and consulting, particularly within the government sector, Amy brings a wealth of knowledge and a strong track record of driving organizational success.
Since joining the Center in June 2024, Amy has been instrumental in elevating its mission to provide programs and services that enhance organizational development, improve processes and efficiency, and equip the workforce with the critical skills required for the future of work. Her commitment to fostering innovation and her passion for lifelong learning are key drivers in her leadership approach.
Amy holds a B.A. in Journalism and Public Relations from Oklahoma State University and is a certified Working Genius instructor. She has been recognized by the Journal Record as a “40 Under 40” honoree and has served on the boards of several nonprofit organizations in the Oklahoma City area. In her consulting work, Amy specializes in optimizing team productivity by identifying gaps and implementing practical, results-oriented solutions.
