Building Strong Coaching Cultures for the Future
Author
For the sixth consecutive year, the Human Capital Institute (HCI) and the International Coach Federation (ICF) partnered to research coaching cultures in organizations. Since 2014, HCI and ICF’s research collaboration has benchmarked the criteria for strong coaching cultures and explored topics including coaching and employee engagement, training and professional development for managers and leaders using coaching skills, coaching and leadership development for millennials and first-time people managers, and coaching and change management.
This year’s research is designed as an update to prior studies, with an emphasis on the activities associated with building a strong coaching culture; namely, program design and implementation, professional development for internal coaches and managers/leaders using coaching skills, and evaluation of coaching impact.
