Before taking his current leadership role as Senior Legal Counsel and Vice President of Compliance at TalentWave, Rob was an attorney at a nationally-ranked law firm in the area of Corporate Law. A graduate of UC Davis and Cornell Law School, Rob is a counselor and problem-solver who is willing to challenge accepted norms and investigate the compliance landscape with fresh ideas backed by the newest data. Licensed in California and New York, Rob has established himself as a trusted advisor from coast to coast, and a respected voice in the world of talent management. He’s penned numerous perspective articles and blogs related to employment law and compliance, is a frequent speaker at local and national contingent workforce events and hosts a variety of webinars on topics including employment legislation, compliance and worker misclassification. At TalentWave he leads a team of compliance analysts to advise and serve enterprise clients so that they may safely engage independent contractors in a compliant way while mitigating their risks. Rob also works with TalentWave’s sales, marketing and operations teams to draft and negotiate contracts, improve program performance and map out compliance strategies. Leveraging his legal and business background, Rob continues to advance ideas designed to work within the boundaries of the IC space, while informing upon where the space will go in the future
